Ikarma and Network Marketing

Ikarma.com is a way to get your character and performance rated; it is a way to let people know who you are by letting them see what others think about you. In other words it is a way to build your reputation, which is important in network marketing. And somehow ikarma greatly helps your website's ratings on google, or as Cindy Bolley would say "it is spider food". That said I want to make a pertinent digression about networking and karma. According to the dictionary a network is "a group, system, etc. of interconnected or cooperating individuals" The key word here is "cooperating". In network marketing a spirit of cooperation and communication should prevail in order for the group to prosper. Networking is people helping each other to grow and develop. Whenever I find a blog that I like or find helpful advise from my colleagues at ikarma I do a review for them. You can easily do an honest review even for a person you don't know just by reading their blogs to see what they are all about. I was doing this just to show my appreciation and support with no intention of gain, but I noticed afterwards that those reviews I did somehow increased my entries and improved my own ratings in google--an unexpected reward! Karma! And this is something that we need to see and understand; we need to understand that when we unconditionally help others we help ourselves because we are all part of the One. Everything is interconnected! Journal

More on Network Marketing

If a goose tries migrating by himself he would find the journey much more harder and longer because he would lack the uplift provided by his fellow geese; they all take turns to lead to make it easier on each other. This sense of cooperation is what attracted me to network marketing. People working together to reach a common goal with less effort is what network marketing is all about. It is interesting to note that what helps us prosper is the fact that we help our own groups (downline) to be successful. So network marketing also helps us understand that we are part of a huge net in which everything is interconnected, and when we help others (all others, not just our own groups) we help ourselves. It helps us understand, if we do it with the right spirit, that by helping others unconditionally we will attain a lofty goal, getting rid of our selfishness; it helps us understand that to work for the common good is to be successful now. Perspective

"If--" by Rudyard Kipling

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or, being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise;

If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with triumph and disaster
And treat those two imposters just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with wornout tools;

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breath a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on";

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings - nor lose the common touch;
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run -
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man my son!
